What’s On

We are running varieties of activities here at the ISRAAC CENTRE.

Summer Film School:

Would you like to make your own short film this summer and learn how to direct, film and edit?
The Diaspora Multimedia Hub supports Sheffield’s diasporic communities to author, create and tell their own stories through the medium of film. The resulting films will be screened with international documentary festival Sheffield Doc/Fest later this year!
Throughout the Summer, we will be running a series of in-person workshops and online mentoring that will take you through the process of making your own short film. We will be providing all training and equipment. You can join the course as an individual filmmaker or joina team e.g. as a director, camera operator, sound tech, editor.
This opportunity is open to all skill levels, no previous experience needed!
Essential Commitment dates:

2nd, 3rd & 4th August 10am-4pm at Israac Community Centre & Sheffield Hallam University.
